Scientific Letter: scientific software for single user or collaboration?

Single User

Scientific Letter has been specifically developed for those users who regularly use mathematics in their daily correspondence. If a user rarely, less often than two-three times a week, creates messages with simple mathematical expressions, he will probably do better with a usual mail client. For example, MS Outlook.

If a user creates messages with simple expressions more often than once a day. Or if he has to create messages with complex expressions from time to time. That is, if his mail client became a part of his scientific workplace, SciLetter is for him. Some time later, using Scientific Letter, such a user will write mathematical messages much more often because he will see how easy it is to create formulas in it. His messages will become more succinct and expressive.

Scientific Letter requires minimum computer skills. General skills are enough. Any feature can be accessed with one click or keystroke. As a result, a user can easily get to know the mailer.

Collaboration

The scientific software makes it much more easier for a single user of the mailer to communicate with his colleagues. But real benefits can be obtained only by a collaboration of users. The equation mailer allows both to create messages with graphic formulas and to view messages from other Scientific Letter users in the same form.

Suppose only one user in a collaboration has Scientific Letter. It means that he can quickly create messages. The rest of the collaboration read messages as before. And it means slowly - a TeX notation is difficult to understand.

Suppose all users in a collaboration have Scientific Letter. It means that they can both quickly create messages and quickly read messages from others. In this case Scientific Letter saves much time for the collaboration.

Our licensing policy takes this fact into account. That is why we offer a considerable discount when you buy already three licenses. That is when the size of a scientific collaboration is minimal.
