A user of Scientific Letter can modify the following document properties: the "To" field, the "Copy" field, the "Bcc" field, the subject, the list of attachments and the body of a message. A separate section is dedicated to editing the message body. The rest of properties are given below.
The "To", "Copy" and "Bcc" fields contain lists of message recipients. Commonly, the first field contains the list of primary recipients (one person, as a rule). The second field contains the list of those who need to know that the message has been sent to its primary recipients. The "Bcc" field is used to specify those recipients that must remain unknown to the others. That is, only the recipient specified in the "Bcc" field can see his or her name. Other message recipients are not aware that he or she also receives a copy of the message.
The "To", "Copy" and "Bcc" fields can be specified either manually or using the window for selecting recipients from the Scientific Letter Address Book.
To specify one of the fields manually, you should place the cursor into it. To do it, you can either move the mouse pointer to it and click it or use the "Tab" key. After that you can type the list of e-mail addresses.
To use the address book for specifying the fields with e-mail addresses, press "Ctrl"+"F5". It will open the "Select recipients" dialog box. When you finish selecting the list of recipients, click "OK" and the lists of recipients will appear in the appropriate fields.
To edit the "Subject" field, place the cursor in it using either the methods above or "Ctrl"+"F6" and type the text of the message subject.
To add, open or delete an attachment, press "Ctrl"+"F7". It will open a window with the list of all attachments. By clicking the corresponding buttons, you can add, open or delete attachments in the message.
