Account Configuration
After you install the program, the "Account settings..." window appears. Use this window to specify the settings that will allow you to send and receive messages:
- The name of the account. You can invent any name for the account.
- Your name and e-mail address. Message recipients will see them in the "From" field.
- Your incoming mail server, account and password. This data should be obtained from your e-mail service provider.
- If you do not want to enter the password each time you receive mail, select the "Remember password" checkbox.
- Your outgoing mail server and, if necessary, account and password. You can enter your password and account name if you select the "Check of authenticity of the user" checkbox. This data should be obtained from your e-mail service provider.
- If you do not want to enter the password each time you sent mail, select the "Remember password" checkbox.
An example of program settings is given in the picture below.
After you enter the data, you should make sure they are entered correctly. The configuration of Scientific Letter is now finished and you can click "OK". Now you can work with Scientific Letter.
